BOI Reporting Reinstated (as of 2.19.25)

Superseded: On December 27th, a different panel from the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals REINSTATED the injunction placing a temporary hold on the BOI reporting requirements. This is an evolving situation, but until further court order, reporting companies are legally not required to comply with the BOI reporting requirements.
Superseded: On December 23rd, upon hearing the appeal of the Department of Justice, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals lifted the injunction that was put in place on December 3rd and reinstated the filing with an extension to January 13, 2025.
Superseded: On December 3, 2024, a federal district court ruled the Corporate Transparency Act is likely unconstitutional and issued a nationwide preliminary injunction prohibiting the enforcement of the Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) Reports.
